  • How are the communities benefiting from Otithi?

    Through Otithi, a portion of the package price goes directly to the communities you visit, supporting local businesses and initiatives. This approach helps create greater opportunities for income generation and empowerment, contributing to the positive and lasting growth of these communities.

  • Is this going to be a guided tour?

    Yes, all our tours are fully guided! Our expert guides will accompany you throughout the journey, providing local insights, stories, and history at both historical sites and during the activities. You'll experience each destination in depth, never having to explore alone!

  • What types of accommodations are available? How many people can go per trip?

    Accommodation options vary depending on the location and package.  We can accommodate up to 30 guests across our destinations. On average, each trip hosts around 8 people, though this may vary based on the available vehicle capacity.

  • Are there facilities for people with disabilities?

    While accessibility may vary across locations, we aim to make every effort to accommodate the needs of travelers with disabilities. We are committed to providing a comfortable experience and will do our best to address specific needs as much as possible.

  • What are the available payment methods?

    Payments can only be made through bank transfer. To confirm your booking, a 50% payment is required if you book at least 2 weeks in advance. The remaining 50% should be paid 5 days before the trip date via bank transfer.

  • Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?

    Additional costs will apply for any extra activities, such as personal shopping, that are not included in the package. Please note that transportation to and from the destination is not covered in the package, and you will need to arrange it independently.

  • Do I need to carry cash during the trip?

    Since the package payment is completed before the trip, there’s no need to carry cash for that. However, if you plan to shop or cover any personal expenses beyond what’s included, we recommend bringing cash.

  • How can I exchange my currency if needed?

    Currency exchange is available at local exchange centers. Please note that ATM booths or digital transfer options may not be available in some areas. Our guides will be happy to assist you in finding a local exchange if needed.

  • What fitness level is needed to experience Otithi?

    Our trips are designed to be accessible for various fitness levels, with activities that range from easy walks to more involved excursions. Please feel free to reach out if you have any concerns about specific activities, and we can assist in making adjustments to ensure your comfort.

  • How much luggage can I bring?

    We do not have any luggage limitations. However, during excursions, we recommend traveling light. You can store your luggage at the accommodation for convenience.

  • Do I need to participate in all the activities included in the package?

    While we encourage participation in all activities to fully enjoy the experience, you are welcome to skip any that you prefer. Kindly inform us in advance so we can make necessary adjustments. Please note that the package price remains the same regardless of participation in specific activities once the trip has started.

  • Is this experience suitable for expecting mothers?

    We warmly welcome expectant mothers and are happy to make any necessary arrangements to ensure a comfortable experience. While facilities may vary by location, we ensure well-maintained transportation, secure accommodations, and a relaxing stay. We’re always ready to customise your journey based on your preferences!

  • Is this service child-friendly?

    Yes! Otithi’s travel plans are child-friendly, and we strive to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for families. We’re happy to tailor your experience based on your needs- just let us know how we can make your trip more comfortable for you and your little one.

  • Does the package cover any travel insurance?

    Our package does not include travel insurance, but you may purchase one independently if you wish.

  • Do the facilities assure hygiene management?

    We ensure hygiene is well-managed at all accommodations and activities. Cleanliness levels may vary by location, but our tour guides will assist in maintaining safety and hygiene precautions during the trip.

  • Do I need to make you aware of any medical conditions?

    We encourage you to review our itinerary and inform us if there are any conditions that may affect your experience. This helps us take necessary precautions to ensure your comfort and safety.

  • What should I do if I need to cancel or change my booking? (refund policy)

    To cancel or change your booking, please email otithi.support@brac.net with your request. Any adjustments will be credited to your Otithi wallet, in line with our Cancellation and Credit Policy.
