A. Booking Policy

A.1 Sign-Up

  • To book your trip with Otithi, please complete our booking form or “request a spot” on our website.

  • For any inquiries or assistance, feel free to contact us via phone, WhatsApp, or through our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram). We are here to help you.

  • We are committed to providing a personalised experience. Please share any preferences or customisation requests, and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • Our trips are available for groups of up to 15 people. However, you may also choose to join a solo trip or form a group with your preferred number of people. Please note that you may be accompanied by other travelers who have booked the same trip.

A.2 Booking Confirmation

  • Once you sign up, a detailed itinerary based on your selected package will be shared within 48 hours.

  • Please note that trip itineraries, activities, and facilities may vary depending on the package chosen. All relevant details will be provided within the stated timeline.
    If you would like to make any changes or customisations after booking, please contact us, and we will gladly assist you.

  • We request that all guests provide accurate personal details, including contact details, passport/NID information, dietary requirements, medical conditions, and emergency contacts.

  • If children will be accompanying you on the tour, kindly inform us and provide full details.

  • Any changes to activities or participant details must be communicated at least 4 days before the scheduled trip date.

A.3 Children Policy

The package price will vary based on the age of children and their preferred accommodation arrangements. We will customise the experience to ensure their comfort. Please note, a maximum of one (1) child can be accommodated with two (2) adults in a double room.

Here is the breakdown of the pricing structure:

Ages 5 and below: Full complementary

Ages 6 to 10: 40% of the total price.

  • Cost includes: Meals, internal transport, and shared accommodation (separate accommodation can be added upon request for an additional cost).

  • Complementary: Activity costs, entry fees and tickets.

Ages 11 to 14: 60% of the total price.

  • Cost includes: Activities, meals, internal transport, and shared accommodation (separate accommodation can be added upon request for an additional cost)

Ages 15 and above: Full price

B. Package Pricing Policy

B.1 Accommodation-Based Package Pricing

Otithi’s package prices are structured to offer a complete experience, inclusive of accommodation, meals, local tour guides, internal transportation at the destination, all relevant entry fees, and curated cultural or nature-based experiences.

Package prices vary based on the type of accommodation selected. Otithi generally offers two types of occupancy-based pricing models:

  • Single Occupancy:
    Guests who prefer to stay alone, can opt for a single occupancy package. The full accommodation cost is borne by the individual, reflected in the single occupancy package rate.

  • Double Occupancy:
    Guests opting to share a room with another traveler will be charged a reduced package rate, as the accommodation cost is shared between two individuals. This results in a lower price compared to the single occupancy package.

B.2 Group-Based Package Pricing

Otithi offers special discounted rates for group bookings.These group rates apply to specific tours when they sign up as a group where the minimum number of group members meet the group package specification. Group pricing is available for select destinations and itineraries, as outlined below:

Note: 

1.To enjoy group package pricing, guests must stay in shared rooms. Group rates do not apply for single occupancy.

2. Otithi reserves the right to revise, amend, or update the group size and package pricing at any time, based on operational needs or other considerations. Any such changes will be communicated to guests in advance.


C. Payment Policy

C.1 Tour Payment

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer. Any transaction fees (e.g., international transfer fees or card charges) are the responsibility of the guest. Payments must be made in BDT or USD (if applicable). Any fluctuations in exchange rates will be borne by the guest.

  • Upon signing up, you will receive a booking confirmation email within 48 hours. You are required to send a copy of your NID/Passport in response to the email. Once we receive your document, we will provide you with the payment details. You must complete the advance payment within 48 hours of receiving the payment details.If payment is not received within the specified deadline, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking, and applicable administrative fees will apply.

  • Standard package prices are listed on our website. For customised packages, our team will reach out to you with a proposed price, which will be confirmed upon agreement.

  • To confirm your booking, full payment for the package must be made via bank transfer before 7 days of your trip.

  • Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. In the event of early cancellation, the deposit may be applied as a credit towards a future booking. For further details, please refer to our cancellation and tour credit policy.


C.2 Flight Payment

  • We can assist you with booking your flight through our partner, ShareTrip. To begin the process, kindly provide the number of passengers, along with their contact details and passport/NID numbers. Once we have this information, we will send you a quotation for the flight tickets.

  • Upon confirmation, we will send you the account details to complete the payment for the flight ticket. Once the payment is received, we will finalise the booking and send you the ticket via email.


D. Cancellation and Credit Policy

D.1 Cancellation by Participant

To cancel your booking, please send an email to otithi.support@brac.net, clearly stating the reason for cancellation. This email will serve as the official cancellation request. Please note that cancellations made via social media inbox, WhatsApp message, phone call or direct contact with any team member will not be accepted. For more details, please refer to the below section.

D.2 Tour Credit via “Otithi Credit Wallet”

  • The Otithi Credit Wallet is a digital wallet where any adjusted amount from a deposit, due to cancellation or package customisation, will be stored as credit. This credit can be used for future trips within 12 months from the date of payment.

  • If you need to make changes to your package or wish to cancel your trip and adjust the payment, please email us at otithi.support@brac.net prior to the trip.

  • Please note, we do not offer refunds; however, any applicable amount will be credited to your Otithi Credit Wallet for future use.

  • Cancellation notice periods and the corresponding credit amounts are as follows:

D.3 Cancellation by the Company

  • The company reserves the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or safety concerns. In such cases, participants will be offered the option to reschedule the tour at no additional charge.

  • If rescheduling is not possible for the participant, the full amount will be credited to your Otithi wallet.
