Itinerary

2 days 1 night in Rajshahi

Day 1
  • Arrival at BRAC Learning Centre
    Our journey begins at the BRAC Learning Centre, where Otithi ensures comfortable accommodations. After check-in and a delightful breakfast, we set off to explore.
  • Varendra Research Museum Tour
    We begin at the Varendra Research Museum, the oldest in Bangladesh and South Asia, where expert guides will walk you through the historic finds of Barind, revealing the region’s rich heritage.
  • Get to know Rajshahi University
    Discover the historic treasures of Rajshahi University, including Baddha Bhumi, Shaheed Zoha Square, and Shabash Bangla- solemn reminders of Bangladesh’s history and the profound sacrifices of our Liberation War.
  • Boat Ride on the Padma
    In the evening, we drift onto the Padma, guided to a serene char by our river guide. Here, a magical evening awaits- a picnic under the open sky, the soothing melodies of our flutist, warm tea in hand, local Rajshahi snacks to savor, and a golden sunset to complete the moment.
  • Picnic and Kite Festival
    Afterward, indulge in a delightful picnic under the open sky, savoring local Rajshahi snacks and warm tea. Celebrate the joy of the moment as we join in the vibrant spirit of a local kite festival.
  • City Tour at Night
    In the evening, discover a whole new side of the city that earns Rajshahi its name as the City of Lights. As night falls, the city comes alive in a uniquely vibrant way. Enjoy a charming rickshaw ride, visit the popular bookshop Batighar, and savor delicious local street snacks along the way.

  • Explore Puthia Rajbari
    After breakfast at BRAC Learning Centre, we head to Puthia Rajbari, a gem of Otithi’s journey. Explore the ancient estate once ruled by remarkable women, admire stunning temples with intricate terracotta, and listen as the purohit brings their stories to life.
  • Pottery Making Activity
    Later, visit the pottery community to craft and paint your own pottery, exploring the rich artistry of Bengal through hands-on creativity.
  • Check-out
    As the journey comes to a close, we check out and ensure a smooth departure. Our transportation will safely drop you off at your designated station or airport.
