  • Sultanate-era mosques of Chapainawabganj
    Start the morning with a refreshing breakfast at the BRAC Learning Centre in Rajshahi. Prepare to explore the historic heart of Chapainawabganj, once part of the ancient capital city of Gaur, a center of power and artistry for centuries. Travel through scenic countryside landscapes toward Chapainawabganj, where centuries-old mosques and Mughal architecture still tell stories of Bengal’s golden age.
  • Darasbari Mosque
    The first stop is the grand Darasbari Mosque, built in the late 15th century during the reign of Sultan Shamsuddin Yusuf Shah. Once part of a royal complex, its brick walls and terracotta ornamentation stand as a testament to the Bengal Sultanate’s architectural mastery.
  • Taha Khana Complex
    Continue to the Taha Khana Complex, a Mughal-era rest house and bathhouse built beside a serene pond. Once a retreat for travelers and nobles, its brick arches and symmetry reflect the refined taste of the Mughal period.

    Begin your day at Uttara Gonobhaban, the former Dighapatia Palace and now a state residence.
